A friend of mine is expecting a sweet little girl. I made this little painting for her after seeing pictures of Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman to travel to outer space.

We all hope great things for our children.  We see shining potential, beauty, intelligence, talent. But the greatest treasure, the brightest light, the shining joy, is knowing they know the God of all truth, righteousness and love.  To see the light of God shining through them.  Shining like stars.
