Hello!  I’m Celia.   Born and raised in the great northwest,  I am a freelance illustrator and fine artist.  Currently, I am residing in Snohomish, Washington with my wonderful husband, his giant beard, three darling boys, and a black cat.  I collect children’s books, like to drink good strong coffee, and enjoy spending time with my family.  I am a dedicated Christian and considers it a matter of joy to commit all my work to the Lord Jesus.  It is by His grace that any good thing can be accomplished.

I work in many different mediums, but I especially enjoy using oil paint and watercolor – although not at the same time.

My work experience and ambitions range from children’s literature to portraiture, hand typography to stuffed toys and everything between.

Most recently my husband, Seth and I worked together on an art installation for the Oak Harbor Library in Washington.  It is a permanent work and can be viewed any time during library hours.
